At minimum: commercial invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, and your IEC. Depending on the goods you may also need a Certificate of Origin, BIS or FSSAI approval, an EPR registration, or a DGFT licence. Send us the invoice and we will confirm the exact list for your product.

For a clean consignment with complete documentation and no examination, clearance is often completed within 24 to 48 hours of the Bill of Entry being filed. Examination, chemical testing or a missing product approval can extend this considerably — which is why we verify documentation before the cargo arrives.

Yes. We plan the vehicle against your clearance timeline so the trailer is at the port when the release comes through, rather than a day later at demurrage rates.

Demurrage is charged by the shipping line when a container stays at the port beyond the free period; detention applies once it leaves. Both are almost always caused by documentation gaps. Filing early and clearing product approvals in advance is what prevents them.
